Residual dirt analysis in the automotive industry

When manufacturing technical components for the automotive industry cleanliness is a function-relevant quality attribute. Any residual dirt on surfaces from production processes may impair the functionality in the vehicle, especially in the engine compartment. Guideline VDA vol. 19 defines the procedure for assessing the technical cleanliness in a vehicle. Our testing laboratory in the cleanroom enables us to monitor the required inspection and testing specification continuously.
